Nature’s tongue…

“Heaven is a state of mind, not a location.”
― Wayne Dyer

my own self worth

In quiet spaces where radiance shines,
intoxicating essence
is naturally
designed…

I step a little closer
and my image
becomes,
enthralled in the dialect
of Nature’s tongue…

I speak the language of this sacred Earth,
finding treasure,
in my own
self-worth…

Ladybird

“Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames”
― Rumi

ladybird

In windswept Valleys
on gusty days,
crimson ladybirds did amaze…
Close encounters
of a surprising kind,
dazzling messengers
blew my mind…

Silent Sunday

“Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads.”
― Henry David Thoreau, Walden

heaven

Is this the splendor of heaven
I see,
where green pastures
reside in reveries,
and pearly skies
kiss tawny dunes
and seagulls glide
on still afternoons?

Will moments like this
be held in time,
to gaze on the bounty of earth sublime,
and if an ache
exists in me
I’ll set my feet
on sage green fields,
where wild geese call out to their mates,
in ceremonies of lavish grace…

Flamboyant performance

“Flowers are the smiles of earth inviting you to enjoy the beauty of love.”
― Debasish Mridha

crimson spectacle

flamboyant performance,
enraptured
I sigh,
scarlet blossoms
incapable of being shy,
flirtatiously
swishing,
as I bask in their glow.
Flaming exhibitionists
have stolen
the show!
